Meditation and Mindfulness

Butterflies

Meditation has been shown to help those with all kinds of mind and body issues. These can be through a medical or physical illness, and to be mindful of your breathing helps you to focus on both areas in unison.

Meditation can be for three short minutes; I do one called the Bagha, and if you would like a copy, please use my contact page.

Time is always a factor mentioned when thoughts go to meditation, though as said it could be three minutes or even part of it for one minute and build upwards to a longer time if you wish to. And of course, there is not a requirement to sit in the lotus position or even crossed legs; the position is for you to be comfortable and the rest and new positioning will come in time.

Mindfulness is a form of meditation but with a focus on the here and now and how what is going on around you blends with your senses at that moment in time. Where often agitation and upset can be triggered by outside and surrounding noise or issues, at that moment it can then flow out of control or even set rigid for a period of time.

Allowing your mind to rest a minute in meditation or just to re –focus those thoughts with a new picture or colour or even altering the other senses such as touch or smell to empower the calmness and feeling of value to yourself.

Meditation can be silent or with soft music playing in the background. You can use a guided meditation which I love and they will soon be available on my new website of KelFox House in a few weeks.

Please let me know if there is a particular meditation that you would like on CD, MP3 or even on a Memory Stick.  Have had requests for Chakra Cleansing and Rebalancing, Chrystal Cave, Meeting Your Guides, what would you like?
